So I finally recieved my new glasses in the mail from my dad and I can see great and edit my videos even greater! It was an absolute nightmare trying to get my package through customs and somewhere along the way my name was turned to "Avbrianna Sprrgn Kasinu" which is completely wrong. If you do not know my real full name it is Aubrianna Spurgin-Kabinu. My dad was told my package would get to me in three to four days here in Oslo but I got it two and a half weeks later while I was dying of strained vision.
Other than that little mishap, I have started at the University of Oslo and it's great, a little different but awesome! One thing that I thought was weird and still happens (it was not just a first day thing) is that after every lecture everyone claps. I look around everytime thinking, we see this guy every other day, clap for him at the end of the semester, he is just doing his job; I only think this way because we were never taught to clap for a teacher or professor after a lesson in America. However, the professors are exeptional so they do deserve a good round of applause I guess! My home university of Stetson back in Florida is a nice small private university where you can meet everyone by the end of the year and walk around the entire campus in 20 minutes or less but here, the campus is huge, in different parts of the city and I have gotten lost everyday, even when I had been to the classroom before. Due to it being such a big campus, professors can move the classroom and time whenever they want and you just have to make sure to check the class website to know that (you do not even get a courtesy email). I have never had that at Stetson and I was an hour late to a class because the professor decided to add an hour that day; hopefully I get the hang of things next week. Overall, great school though; beautiful campus, great professors, etc.!
The video above is my latest one of me tasting all the strange foods (to me that is) in Larvik, Norway I had near me to eat. The video starts with the yucky stuff but ends on a good note with the amazing foods! I hope you enjoy what I put together and I hope to update the blog with more new pictures and stories as soon as possible; I plan on doing some fun stuff soon! Have a good day folks!
